Staying with us
Welcome to our beautifully restored 19th Century Gascon farmhouse in Flamarens, just 50 minutes from Toulouse airport and 30 minutes from Agen railway station. Set in rolling countryside, our home with 5 acres of gardens is available to rent entière (the whole property) for periods of 1 week or more. Or on a chambres d’hôtes bed and breakfast basis you can stay for one night or longer; table d’hôte evening meals can also be provided on request.
High quality events & celebrations
We provide a high-quality accommodation, food and events service – including hosting retreats, workshops, family celebrations or intimate weddings. We can provide a marquee, catering, flowers, photographer, music and any other requirements you may have. We are also a perfect venue for pre and post wedding parties – by the Swimming Pool in summer months – possibly for those who may wish to marry at one of the nearby chateaux.
In the heart of Gascony
Loosely speaking, just West of Toulouse, in the department of Le Gers, you will find Gascony (French: Gascogne), an area that ceased to be officially recognised after the revolution of 1789. It now forms part of La Région Occitanie (previously known as Midi- Pyrénées, which you will still see on many road signs). Home of the musketeer D’Artagnan, as well as Cyrano de Bergerac, the people of Gascony are proud, individualistic souls who see themselves as very separate from the rest of France.
Originally from South West London, after years spent in banking and management consultancy, 3 years ago we upped sticks and moved to Normandy. Renting a farmhouse close to the sea between Saint-Lô and Mont St Michel, we spent a very happy year there and made some life-long French friends. It was a great introduction to French life but when our lease came to an end we decided to experiment in warmer climes.
