Excellent welcome in a relaxing place with little British touches!

You really feel at home here.

Michelle’s welcome, full of kindness and goodwill. The environment, in the middle of the Gers hills. The excellent breakfast and table d’hôte in the evening. And the swimming pool, more than welcome in hot weather. Just a little advice: drive slowly on the access road to the house!

The hostess is very attentive to the needs of the travellers, whilst leaving them to enjoy their privacy. Very comfortable room and delicious breakfasts with local products. Dogs are welcome.

Maison Lamothe has the feeling of a home away from home. our hostess was so nice and welcoming, talking to her was a real pleasure. The breakfast was very good and the views all around are so beautiful!

A perfect location with the perfect host.

Maison Lamothe is the most tranquil location to relax. The surrounding countryside is stunning and the local villages are beautiful and full of history. Michelle and her adorable dog, Bertie made us welcome from our first minute of arrival to the last.

Nothing was too much trouble, even when we extended our stay last minute! We felt we were staying with friends the whole time. Michelle’s cooking, table d’hote was first class and we ate there every night, six nights. Absolutely excellent food and wonderful company.

Our room was meticulously clean and superbly comfortable with a comparatively quiet air conditioning system. We are already thinking about our next visit.

We were sad to leave. A perfect place to stay.
